AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY: Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room.
ADA Compliance: The Ocean Five Hotel caters to all guests with special needs and disabilities; our property is wheelchair friendly including but not limited to our entrance (accessible from the parking lot and/or front entrance), hallways, lobby and other public areas, and fully accessible rooms. Furthermore, we feature the Garaventa Xpress II wheelchair stair lift, available to gain entry into our accessible rooms. We also feature an ADA compliant Sensor Strobe System throughout property and in our accessible rooms. Accessible rooms also feature accessible drapes (which can be reached from wheelchair height), climate control panel for HVAC units (18-inches off the ground), conveniently reached lamps on nightstands (18-inches off the ground, non-fixed), accessible room closet rods (34-inches off the ground), and room doors with handles 42-inches off the ground, and security latches 39-inches off the ground for full ADA compliance. Our accessible rooms additionally feature wider entrances (36-inches wide), spaces and roll-in showers with side held grab bars, as well signage and strobe lights. We are TTY friendly (device is available at reception).
CONNECTING ROOM POLICY: No connecting rooms available.
EXTRA BEDDING POLICY: No additional beds available. Baby cribs available upon request, free of charge.
CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT POLICIES
EARLY CHECK-IN POLICY: Check-in time is 3:00pm. Early check-in is subject to availability at time of arrival. An early check-in charge may apply, please contact the hotel for further information. Please note, early check-in will NOT be available during high demand periods.
LATE CHECKOUT POLICY: Checkout time is 12:00pm. We are pleased to offer late checkouts subject to availability on the scheduled departure date for an additional fee.
PET POLICY: No pets are allowed.
SMOKING POLICY: The hotel is 100% smoke-free, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms or lobby areas. Any evidence of smoking within premises will result in a $250.00 cleaning fee.
NOISE/DISTURBANCE POLICY: Parties are not permitted in any guest rooms or suites. Up to four guests are permitted in a room or suite at any one time. Noise complaints are taken seriously and may result in eviction without compensation. Compensation may be given to the guests who have been disturbed, and may be charged to your account at the hotel’s discretion.
PAYMENT POLICY: A valid Credit/Debit card is required at check-in for payment of the room and tax as well as to guarantee incidentals.
For third-party credit card arrangements, please contact the hotel directly. Third-party credit card payments must be pre-approved at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD POLICY: Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount for the guest’s stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out. Upon check out, all guest’s charges are to be settled, at which time all non-used funds held by the hotel will be released. Authorized amounts may take up to 3 business days or more after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. The hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges related to held funds.
For guests with prepaid reservations, Debit/Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out. If at check out, there are no charges, funds will automatically be released.
